Less than a month

January 2, 2011!!!

We are into the new year which means it is less than a month away from my departure date. I am at the Bikestation working and taking care of some things to make a clean break and not have lingering bills. Notice to my landlord, notice to my phone company, notice to my jobs. Leaving everything is already proving to be difficult, however I will get used to it. I need to pack away a few more things, and still need to sell my car, but I will get this done within the next few weeks.

My last month at Bikestation is looking pretty bleak. For some reason, hours have been pulled back from me. O'well. That gives me more time to get things together. My schedule looks something like this:

1/4: 12-6, 1/5: 12-6, 1/11: 12-6, 1/12: 12-6, 1/15: 12-5, 1/16: 12-5, 1/17: 11-3, 1/18: 11-3, 1/19: 12-6, 1/24: 1-6, 1/25: 12-6, 1/26: 1-6, 1/29: 12-5, 1/30: 12-5

Pike work schedule is:

1/4: 7p-close, 1/7: 9p-close, 1/11: 7p-close, 1/14: 9p-close, 1/18: 7p-close, 1/21: 9p-close, 1/25: 7p-close, 1/28: 9p-close

Even just writing this brings me close to tears, knowing this is it. I will be having a get together at Pike for all those interested. A bit of a going away celebration. If you want to say hi/bye I'm thinking of planning it for the 22nd of January. Let me know what you all think and if you can make it. I don't want to have it the last weekend because I plan to spend time with my family the last few days I'm here.

If you want to be there when I depart, I will give you that information when I see you at the Pike. I will also post it from here, so just stay tuned. It will be from somewhere downtown Long Beach, maybe from the beach off of Junipero, as I want to go from ocean to ocean. The plan is to 'Swamp Thing' out of the breakers to my bike, then head out. I would love as many of you to be there as can be.
